MEDIA STATEMENT - SHADOW MINISTERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Following the resignation of Peter Cain MLA from the Shadow Cabinet, responsibilities have been allocated as per the attached table (changed responsibilities have been highlighted).

ACT Opposition Leader Leanne Castley said that the Canberra Liberals team remained firmly focussed on holding ACT Labor to account and the 25 new and higher tax increases in last weeks Budget needed further scrutiny.

“Our team has spent the past 6 months or so listening to the ACT community and we have heard that the cost of living crisis remains front and centre for Canberrans,” Ms Castley said.

“This Budget with it’s long list of new and higher costs for Canberrans demonstrates just how out of touch ACT Labor is with the community.”
